The Name
But there’s one question you’re obviously wondering about; why the name RadiAubergine?
The site is obviously about radio, hence the ‘radi’ prefix.
We then wanted to name it based on a fruit, so chose aubergine (or eggplant to Americans) as it’s not just a fruit but probably the most underused emoji. It’s not even in the top 100!
Plus, the ‘au’ in aubergine sounds like an ‘o’ and radio finishes with the same letter.
No doubt as well, when you searched for this site or the fruit for the first time you typed “obergine” or something similar.

We run Google adverts in our header and sidebar in an attempt to make a few pence from your visit. Our apologies if this annoys you, but we currently don’t have any advertising partners. If you want to, you could advertise here! Just get in touch if you have any ideas.
