Aiir Reveal Radio Flux Capacitor at Better On Air Event

Aiir (previously G Media) have revealed their “Radio Flux Capacitor” at their Better On Air event in London today.

The Sheffield based media company held an event in London’s Royal Society of Medicine to a capacity crowd.

The “Radio Flux Capacitor” allows radio stations to operate the best ‘Time Tunnel’ feature possible, by actually transporting listeners back to their year of choice.

Not only will the music on the radio be from that year, but the listener’s hair, voice, height, weight and age will actually be the same as from that year.

If the listener didn’t exist in that year, then they will take on their parent’s or grandparent’s likeness.

Ricki Lee, the executive director, said of the event, “I’m beyond proud of the G Media team right now. Now we’ll stop tip toeing around secrets and share all.”

There were concerns from some reenactment societies, who felt they may be out of a job in “transporting people back in time.”

However one of the Aiir team pointed out on stage, “You just dance around in frilly dresses. We’re actually taking you back in time!”
