The 2015 Student Radio Conference in Exeter is to be sponsored by Ginsters.
The Cornwall based pasty food company will be sponsoring the Student Radio Association’s annual Student Radio Conference, which will be held in Exeter next week.
It is believed that the sponsorship is being done on a contra-deal, where Ginsters will supply conference delegates with “out of date pasties, sausage rolls and sandwiches which students’ unions have previously refused to stock.”
A source at Ginsters continued, “Students don’t give an arse what they eat, so they won’t mind. Who doesn’t love free food?!”
SRA Chair, Stu Manton, was excited for the deal with Ginsters, “OH MY GOD I CANNOT COPE WITH THIS.”
Oliver Ing, SRA Marketing Officer, told us, “This is just fantastic news! Plans are turning into executions.”
Organisers of the conference have pointed out that “whilst Ginsters is based in the South-West of England, Ginsters is in Cornwall and #SRAcon will be in Devon. #DevonOrHell.”
The Student Radio Conference will take place at University of Exeter, from 20th to 22nd April 2015.
