Pop star, Taylor Swift will be hosting a one-off show on North Norfolk Digital in May.
Yesterday, BBC Radio 1 announced that Swift will be headlining their annual Big Weekend event, which will be held at Earlham Park in Norwich on 23rd and 24th May.
Swift will be on air Friday 22nd May from 10am to midday, playing her favourite songs from the year of her birth to present day.
The show will be technically challenging however, as she will have to work within the restrictions of the still multinational conglomeratly owned studios. During it’s rebrand as “Shape”, all CD players were removed and the music scheduling was moved to an online system controlled overseas.
Swift’s management quoted Swift saying, “People like music.”
Veteran station presenter, Alan Partridge, will be hosting his regular show after Swift.
When asked his thoughts on Swift’s show he told us, ” ‘Lovely stuff!’ Not my words. The words of Shakin’ Stevens!”
