Darryl Morris Becomes ‘Voice Of The Youth’ In New Role With Sky News

| |

The Hits Radio breakfast presenter Darryl Morris has taken on a new position at Sky News titled ‘Voice Of The Youth’.

Last week, Darryl Morris was interviewed by Kay Burley at Salford’s MediaCityUK, and was asked “Why aren’t more young people voting?”

After the interview, RadiAubergine understands that Sky News contacted Darryl to ask if he would like to be the ‘Voice Of The Youth’ during all other Election 2015 coverage. They are said to be impressed with his “use of youth lingo, that young people can get understand”.

Darryl said he was very excited to be on Sky News last week;

Darryl will now be part of any discussion involving the ‘youth vote’ on Sky News.

With over 4.5 thousand follows on Twitter, most of which are aged 13-18 years old, he will be able to draw upon their thoughts and feed that into the Sky News machine.
